Sailor Moon, for many of us, is a childhood staple. Touching the hearts of thems, hims and hers all over the world, maybe even the universe for over 3 decades. What better way to celebrate, the Earth Savior and brilliant mind behind her, the G.O.A.T (greatest of all time), Takeuchi Naoko, then with a podcast that celebrates all things Moonie.
Hosted by Victoria L. Johnson, a.k.a Miss Old Skool, a pop culture journalist, and a proud Moonie. The Sailor Moon Fan Club is a weekly podcast that features interviews with Musicians, Bestselling Authors, and industry influencers who have been inspired by the Pretty Guardian.
One of the best things about this podcast really boils down to the guests and the conversations. Miss Old School asks the right questions. Ones that show who they are and others the help them shine. Sort of how Sailor Moon brings the best out of those around her. Victoria channels that in such an authentic way that make the conversations that much more engaging.
On the flip side to all of that, it’s just dope hearing people dissect and analyze Sailor Moon in a way I couldn’t. Which helps me appreciate the Godmother of all Magical Girls that much more. It’s refreshing, but don’t take my word for it. Take the leap for yourself.
