The Green Lantern (John Stewart) casting Tyrese Gibson

 These are just fan art of actor Tyrese Gibson as John Stewart and they are the coolest of the cool with this fan art I can actually see Tyrese playing John and doing it well we have seen him mainly in the Fast & Furious Franchise in the last few years and working on his last album Black Rose Album, Documentary, Book and Movie. This should be good.
At first when i heard of the rumors of another Green Lantern movie i was having all negative thoughts because Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan was just horrible the whole movie was a waste. Ryan isn’t at fault for that one but it was horrible to sit through i even stayed to see if it would get better and it didn’t. I was ecstatic when they rumored it was going to be John Stewart’s movie he is my favorite Green Lantern I was hoping the role would go to Idris Elba but when Tyrese said he would love to play the role I actually started liking the idea.

Tyrese has posted pictures of the fan art and of the Warner brothers logo he could of had a meeting there or have been on a audition but he was definitely in the building so i believe we should be waiting on a few more posts about whether he has the role or not.
I loved this character since I read one of the Green Lantern Mosaic comics when i was a kid and then to see him again in my favorite shows as a lead character in Justice league and justice league unlimited there’s a spot in my heart for superheros that are people of color i grew up looking for characters that looked like me or people i knew and then there was John Stewart and others. I love to collect the artwork and merchandise of John Stewart but do you know how rare he is to find every time i look for artwork it’s of Hal Jordan. Green Lantern merchandise is also hard to find with John Stewart on it. Is it so hard to include the whole lantern core or just john himself it’s frustrating at times but i can live without it.
