12 Days of Anime: Series I'm Looking Forward To Watching

4

As much as I love to sit and watch anime I never have enough time to sit and wrap myself in the world. I have to set time aside to start a series because of how busy life has been the last couple of months. The last anime I watched this year wasn’t even new, I rewatched some episodes of Inuyasha because I didn’t want to start a series and don’t have time to finish it.

I got my anime fix by watching shows I’ve seen already and I need to break out of this habit and finish some new series I’ve been wanting to watch for some time.  I’ll be doing better starting next year setting time aside to watch these anime shows because it’s something I’ve been trying to do for a while and it’s eating at me that I’m not relaxing and watching anime like I used to.

My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is on that I’ve been trying to watch all year since it was 2 seasons deep. I wanted to try and start before season 3 started but it didn’t work out. I know so much about this anime just from the internet and talking to people about what anime they are currently watching. I feel like since this is one of the popular shows I should at least seen a few episodes to see what the hype is all about.

Mahou Shoujo Ore

Manhou Shoujo Ore is one that I just recently heard about and I’ve been interested in this just from the cover art. These magical girls turn into these muscular men and I found this to be so funny. I have to see this show so I can get an understanding of what is going and why this happened to them.

This will probably be the first anime I watch in my downtime because I will thoroughly enjoy this show for all the comedic value. I love comedy and this I have so many questions I need to be answered so I HAVE to see this one through.

Yuri!!! on Ice

Yuri on Ice is on my watchlist and has been for a long time. I saw the first episode and never finished the series. This series is worth the hype to me, I’m excited to see this completely and get to know the characters and see how their relationships developed. I know that Yuri on Ice has so many yaoi fanart and Doujins out there that makes me need to understand the backstory before indulging in.

Zombie Land Saga

Zombie Land Saga is another on my list that I want to see because of the storyline. These popular singers wake up one day as functioning zombies, its amusing to me because I’ve never seen anything like it. I do love a good zombie flick but this here looks entertaining and fun.

I think this one will become a favorite of mines because it includes some of my favorites which is music, zombies, and cuteness. I look forward to this anime to find out how zombie superstars will survive in this world.

This concludes just my top 4 on my must-watch list. I’m hoping to start this list by Christmas and hopefully, by the time the new years comes around, I can finish this list or at least 2 of 4. I want to get better at making time to watch anime and getting some downtime for reading again as well. My time management is horrible but it’s something I want to work on so I can get back into what I enjoy.

  1. I watched a load of shows I’d not got around to. Highschool of the Dead was the only series that I rewatched and I’ve done more than 1,000 anime episodes so far. There’s more too that I need to get to. It’s been good to knock some off my to watch list.

    1. It’s a good feeling knocking stuff off your watch lists. There’s so much to choose from now it’s hard to pick which one to start with. 1000 episodes is a really good amount over the years too. A seasoned otaku lol
