Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live

This journey as a content creator has been filled with so many amazing experiences—things I wouldn’t have imagined in my wildest dreams. Thanks to the team at Keith Sherman & Associates, I was able to go on an adventure with the Sailor Scouts. While on the final leg of their North American Tour. Introducing Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live
Based on one of the world’s most iconic manga series of all time. Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live was written and directed by Miura Kaori. Bringing Takeuchi Naoko’s vision to life in a very unique way. This 2.5D Musical is a uniquely Japanese experience that brings two-dimensional characters and concepts into the real world.

About Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live
Director Miura led a cast of 12 people, including the Sailor Guardians, Tuxedo Mask, Queen Beryl, and the ensemble cast in an epic battle against Queen Beryl (Okamura Sayaka). Tanaka Riko (Sailor Moon), Maekawa Kanon (Mercury), Kobayashi Rei (Mars), Matsumura Kisara (Jupiter), and Makino Marin (Venus). Tatemichi Riona as Tuxedo Mask and an ensemble cast featuring Nagasawa Ayano, Sagisaka Ayumi, Watanabe Minami, and Yanagihara Kana.
Choreographed by Toma Satomi with a soundtrack by Sakabe Go and Kyohei.
The Super Live is big and as magical as the source material. The costumes were lovely. The stage was vibrant, and the music matched the electricity. Creating an immersive experience. It felt like watching Usagi and the gang get into some shenanigans, and I was transported back to being a little girl again. I loved it.

PGSMTSL Press Event
I was invited to attend a press event for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live. We were treated to a brief but intimate performance and a photo session. Followed by an interview with the main cast and director.
Moreover, we learned a bit about each member and their experience traveling across the United States. Their smiles and accounts- both infectious. If the Ooos and ahh were anything to go off of. Whereas, the other members of the press and whoever else was in attendance were equally as excited to be there. I was sure hell was.
All in all, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live is a go! If they return Stateside, I would highly recommend this stage play for SM and non-fans alike. It’s a good time. Breathtaking in every facade. And it’s worth every penny. Very special Shout-out to Kodansha and Keith Sherman & Associates for the invitation. I felt very grateful.
