Children of Ether

I’ve been waiting on this to drop for a while now.  And now that it with in my grasp, I am ecstatic and low key kinda speechless.  But with a staff of this caliber, how could I not be? Character designs by Hiroshi Shimizu, storyboard by Shingo Natsume,  and animation by Mitsuo Iso. As well as director Yûichi Takahashi. With the entire project being headed by LeSean Thomas.

And how could I forget. Music by Mr. Hudson

Children of Ether follows Rhonda, a woman with a dark past and a mysterious power, as she is pursued by an unknown assailant after the death of her father. Aided only by her wits and a pair of orphans, Rhonda journeys through a decaying, dystopian metropolis populated by raiders, gangs, and the supernatural. As she struggles to survive in this harsh urban tangle, she meets both friends and enemies, and searches for answers about this power, “The Ether”, awakening within her.

The art work looks fantastic.  The animation is dark and feels gritty. Not to mention the melanated lead.   I am so excited about this.   So check it out and let me know what you think.
