Summary:  Meet Sarah, successful event planner by day… frustrated 30 year-old virgin by night. Actually, she’s not quite 30 yet. The night before the dreaded birthday, she vows to do something about it.

Meet Gang-E, a 29 year-old graphic novelist. She only has one problem… she likes them young. Males, that is… especially her 19 year-old assistant and lover (and adoring fan) Jooyoung. No more boys, she pledges. Gang-E vows to find a real man, even if it kills her.
And finally, meet 27 year-old Amber who ruthlessly climbs the corporate ladder, leaving many dead career corpses in her wake. Amber has never met a man she didn’t like (and sleep with), nor has Amber ever met a woman she did.
Three lonely women in search of “happily ever after” in one modern city filled to the brim with difficult men. We all yearn to drive down a straight, calm road leading us to our happiness. But if it were that easy, life wouldn’t be such an amazing ride.
Now I’ve never read something so realistic before I read this a couple of years ago. Everything about each woman happens in everyday life. I now about the realities of all 3 women but I have a closer connections to Sarah because I know what she’s going through after years of trying to find someone to be with.
This manhwa has helped me realize that society has drilled this picture perfect love story into our heads like that all life is about. Rereading this made me start thinking why are we always pressuring ourselves to do “what we’re suppose to” rather than what we want? finding a partner is a choice people make and I lost count of how many times people tried to force it on me rather than letting me find my own way. I identify with Sarah because no matter how much you pressure yourself because of society standards the more you beat yourself up but in this case Sarah wanted to so that’s what I like about her. (I just got super personal lol)
