While doing research on TiA, I learned that she was the winner of McDonald’s Annual Gospelfest in 2016 and since her relocation, she has performed at Carnegie Hall, Newark Symphony Hall and joined the New Hope Community Church Gospel Choir along the way. I was instantly sold, even though I had already planned to attend this concert.
I’m super excited not only will we be blessed with one accomplished musician but with another whose, accolades are equally as impressive. That’s MC/Vocalist Kohei Hattori a.k.a Kohei.

Kohei moved to New York from Tokyo in the Summer of 2011. Kohei performed at the world-famous Apollo Theater on multiple occasions taking home the gold in 2014 following being Boo’d off the first time. He’s opened up for Raekwon from the legendary Hip Hop collective Wu-Tang Clan and R&B powerhouses Case and Lyfe Jennings. He has also participated in McDonald’s Gospelfest in both 2016 and 2017.
Their joint performance will be on Friday, Aug. 17 at 8pm in the Main Event Hall.

We’ll be running around all weekend, so come to take the ride with us. Be sure to follow us on all our social media because we’ll be updating them regularly. So stay tuned!
