Enter Thee Hottieverse With Me!

Let me start with I’m a big fan of Megan Thee Stallion. I know all the words to her songs and call myself a Hottie from time to time. Amaze VR Concert is the first of its kind happening right now. I was lucky enough to get the first wave of VR Concerts that came to New York. I went to the Amaze VR Concert with high hopes that this experience would be amazing and it really was. I’m so proud of Megan for doing this VR Concert. For hotties that can’t make it to any of her live performances. The tickets were $20 each and that’s reasonable for just going to the theater to watch a VR experience.

In NYC the 42nd Street AMC theater help the Amaze VR Concert. When I arrived with my partner we were greeted by AMC employees. Dancing and hyping us up for coming to the VR Concert. It was a very cool way to be welcomed like that. It felt so good to just be hyped up to dance to some of Meg’s signature songs. After finding our seats we had to wait about 10 minutes. Watching all of Megan’s music videos on the big screen. I’m not made it I loved the vibe of the other people ready to twerk to every song.

It was finally time to put the VR headset on. The first 10 minutes we are playing an interactive game with our seat partners. So the game is you moving your hands to shoot these prisms in front of you and completing the stages. You work in a group of 4 but our seatmates never showed up. So it was just me and my partner shooting prisms together. I think this is a great opportunity to meet new people. We would already have a common interest being Megan Thee Stallion.

Finally ,Megan Thee Stallion, The Hottie herself graced our eyes and we get to start the concert. When seeing Meg through the VR headset she looks so short. Knowing she’s 5’10” made the performance a bit weird. I was hoping the camera would catch Megan in all her glory and it sure did just not her height. It wasn’t a negative experience. Megan’s ass was all in your face like you can see the jiggle effect of twerking. Of course, I forgot about the height thing as soon as she started mesmerizing us with her dance skill.

Megan performs about 5 or 6 songs and the concert was over. It was going so good to be over so fast and that was the most disappointing part. It ran for 30 mins and then it was over. I heard people singing along with me to songs. We all were vibing to the music and dancing in our seats. I’m not sure what more I wanted with a $20 ticket. I just didn’t expect the entire experience to be under an hour.

Overall I would recommend people that can use VR headsets to check out this series of VR Concerts from Megan Thee Stallion. After the first wave another set of dates was released for August and I hope you get the chance to see it. I think this would be great to branch out to performances from Virtual artists like Hatsune Miku as well. The real question is will artists take this route for concerts instead of performing live events.
